Undergraduate Programs
Our undergraduate programs offer the opportunity to
participate in a rich learning environment at the University
of Connecticut's Avery Point Campus. As a student in
our program you will visit nearby coastal environments,
study and collect marine plants and animals, and return
to our new marine laboratory to analyze your samples
on state-of-the-art analytical instruments. You will
have access to our new marine sciences building, and
be able to explore Long Island Sound on our new research
vessel. You will discover the coast both in and outside
of the classroom.
Our Department offers several undergraduate degrees
including a major in Coastal Studies, a minor in Marine
Biology, and a minor in Oceanography. The Environmental
Science major has multiple areas of concentration, one
of which is Marine Science. |
